Questions parents ask.
Short answers about what TeamLift does, what it costs and who can see what.
Is TeamLift available now?
Yes. It's free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
What does it cost?
The family calendar, carpools, signups, lists, reminders and team tools are free.
TeamLift Pro adds Magic Import, which reads a schedule from a photo, PDF or pasted email. Your first two uploads are free. After that Pro is $3.99 a month or $29.99 a year. See pricing.
Do the other parents need the app?
For signups, no. Snack and volunteer signups, team food orders, rosters and Big & Little pairings all work from a link in any browser, with no download and no account.
Carpools are different. To drive or ride in a carpool, each family uses the app, so everyone sees the same plan and gets the reminders.
Does it replace TeamSnap or GameChanger?
No. Keep your team app. TeamLift reads its calendar and adds the parts it doesn't cover: who's driving, who has snacks and what goes in the bag.
My team doesn't have a calendar link. Can I still use it?
Yes. Add practices and games yourself, or take a photo of the paper schedule and let Magic Import read the dates.
Who can see my family's schedule?
Only the people you choose. A Village is a private group that families join with a code you share. Nobody outside it sees your rides.
Can my spouse or co-parent see the same plan?
Yes. Join the same household and you both see the same rides the moment one is claimed.
Is it only for sports?
No. School drop-off, daycare pick-up, dance, theater and scouts all work the same way.
Does TeamLift track my location?
No. TeamLift doesn't track your live GPS location in the background. Addresses you type in are used to hand directions to Apple Maps or Google Maps.
Does it work with a Skylight frame?
Yes. Settings gives you a calendar link you can add to a Skylight, or to any calendar that accepts a subscription link.
I love TeamLift. How can I help spread the word?
Thank you! We made ready-to-send emails, group texts and social posts you can copy and share in a minute.
I run a club, school team or kids' program. Can we share it with our families?
We'd love that. See Partner With Us.
