The Story Behind the Lift
It truly takes a village (even if you’re living states away from one).
As a working parent navigating the beautiful chaos of raising active children, I learned early on that the "village" isn't just a nice-to-have—it’s a survival requirement. When your family’s weekly calendar starts to look like a high-stakes game of Tetris, the mental load can become overwhelming.
I found myself drowning in a sea of fragmented tools: endless group chats, spreadsheets, one-off signup links, and multiple team apps that didn't talk to each other. I realized I was spending all my mental energy on the logistics of my children's lives—the carpools, the gear, the snacks—instead of being mentally present for the children themselves.
I dreamed up TeamLift out of a desire to repurpose that "coordination time" back into what matters. Whether it’s finding time for a run, hitting the yoga mat, or simply being able to cheer from the sidelines without a mounting to-do list in my head, I knew there had to be an easier way.
TeamLift is the tool I needed: a single hub designed to turn the mental load into a shared lift. We’re building the village we all need, so we can finally stop being mentally exhausted and start showing up for the moments that matter most.
